Sumit Singh is beyond thrilled to share that I’ve officially joined the WordPress Training Team Deputy Representative Program as the first Deputy Team Representative! 🎉
It’s an incredible honor to be part of this program and contribute to the amazing work the Training Team does in empowering individuals to learn and grow with WordPress. This program not only supports the WordPress community but also creates a clear path for new contributors to get involved.
Over the past year, I’ve been passionate about helping new contributors find their way into the WordPress ecosystem. My vision has always been to connect new contributors to the community and guide them in starting their journey. This new role as a Deputy Team Representative will allow me to continue that mission on a broader scale.
In this program, I will be working alongside the Training Team to:
- Mentor and onboard new contributors.
- Support community members in understanding how they can contribute to the team.
- Help organize and manage various team initiatives.
- Share resources and create learning materials to make contributing more accessible.
